Then, she recounted in the book and interview, there was a second shot and her husband was hit as he blurted, "No, no, no," and "My God, they are going to kill us all.". . .

There was a third shot, the one that shattered the president's head. . . .

The Warren Commission . . . concluded that . . . the president and the governor were both hit by a second bullet.

"Well they're wrong," Mrs. Connally said . . . "I was there, they weren't. When they argue with me, all I have to say is, `Were you in that car?' "

SNIPER COVERUPS IN WASHINGTON

It is often confusing whether a reference to Washington means the state or the nation's capital. In this case it is both. The case is the murder of young Keenya Cook in Tacoma, Washington on Feb. 16, 2002. Keenya was baby sitting at the home of her aunt, Isa Nichols and was shot dead when she opened the front door in response to someone at the door. Police had no clues and it was a mystery until the alleged snipers, John Alan Muhammad and Lee Malvo, were arrested in suburban Washington, D.C.

Isa Nichols had worked for Muhammad and was a witness against him in Muhammad's divorce from his second wife. Police theorized that Muhammad might have been the shooter in Keenya's murder, a case of mistaken identity with Isa Nichols as the intended target.

A solid circumstantial case was built against Muhammad and/or Malvo when a witness came forward with the .45 semi-automatic handgun that had fired the fatal shot. The witness, still unidentified to this day, said Muhammad and Malvo had been staying with him between Feb. and April of that year (according to the Tacoma News Tribune) and had borrowed the weapon.

Federal and local law enforcement officials have steadfastly refused to identify the witness, as have the three major newspapers in the area, the Tacoma News Tribune, The Seattle Post Intelligencer and the Seattle Times. Pierce County prosecutors have said they will not file charges in the Cook murder providing a rationale for preserving the anonymity of the key witness.

However, all that has changed with the trial of John Muhammad in Virginia charged with one shooting death. In order to justify the death penalty, prosecutors need to show that Muhammad was involved in a series of murders and/or intended to terrorize the populace.

As a part of meeting that burden of proof, Virginia prosecutors have provided a list of 13 witnesses they intend to call from the Tacoma area. The list includes a number of police officers, medical and forensic experts involved in the investigation of the Cook murder and the aunt, Isa Nichols. Missing from that list is the name of the mystery witness who is the only one that can tie Muhammad and Malvo to the murder weapon.

Will the Virginia judge allow our mystery man to preserve his anonymity by testify from behind a screen? Or maybe he will allow second-hand hearsay evidence about the weapon and/or Malvo's alleged "confession" to jailhouse guards that he shot Keenya?

But why the secrecy? Certainly the mystery witness need not fear retribution from Muhammad or Malvo who will never see another day free. Perhaps the real reasons have nothing to do with the sniper murders. But before exploring those possibilities, there is an odd situation with Muhammad's defense attorneys

It has been speculated by Washington (D.C.) pundits that the defense team will not mount much of a defense against conviction and will concentrate on avoiding the death penalty. If so, they should vigorously protest any anonymous witnesses or hearsay evidence in the Keenya Cook case.

One of the names on the Defense's witness list is Charles Douglas. According to a task force investigation in Antigua, headed by prominent lawyer John Fuller, Muhammad lived in Douglas's home during the time he was in Antigua. The investigation linked Muhammad to various criminal activities in Antigua. His main source of income appeared to be from providing forged documents, e.g. driver's licenses and birth certificates, which were used to obtain fraudulent passports. Muhammad was charging $3,000 per set of documents.

Muhammad would then arrange transportation to the United States for the persons using the return trip portion of airlines tickets procured under false names. The investigation also tied Muhammad into narcotics trafficking and U.S. currency counterfeiting in Antigua.

Another facet of the D.C. coverup is the ease with which Muhammad has escaped prosecution and managed to avoid a "rap sheet" on the FBI's national database. In this writer's previous article we mentioned several instances where prosecution seemed warranted. In one case Muhammad simply "walked away" from an Antigua police station after being held for two days and disappeared into his welter of aliases.

In another he was apprehended in Florida bringing in two aliens with false I.D. but was released without charges. His shoplifting charge in Tacoma on which he skipped bail and an arrest warrant was issued is not in the database. Neither was the restraining order his ex-wife obtained against him.

New documents and reports disclose several other arrests that did not appear on his record. Again in Florida Muhammad was arrested when caught with false I.D. Immigration authorities say they referred it to the U.S. Attorney who refused to prosecute. The U.S. Attorney's office "denies it has any record" of the incident. (That's not the same thing as saying it didn't happen. Records can be shredded.)

Muhammad was also arrested twice in Tacoma for driving on a suspended license. There was no prosecution and the arrests were not to be found on the database.

The conclusion is inescapable that the government for some reason was protecting Muhammad.

Meanwhile back in Tacoma there are several possible reasons government officials and the media continue to shield our mystery man's identity. It was reported that he became acquainted with Muhammad from their mutual interest in guns. One could then assume they originally met at a gun range, gun show, gun store or similar venue.

One such place could have been Bullseye Shooters Supply, a gun shop owned by former sniper instructor Brian Borgelt. The shop was the last place the Bushmaster rifle allegedly used in the 14 sniper shootings was seen until the ATF says it found it in Muhammad's car when the pair were arrested. Borgelt's store had a horrible record of losing track of weapons and the rate of weapons subsequently used in crimes was six times the national average for gun dealers. Hundreds of guns had gone missing from his store in the two years before the sniper shootings with no action taken by the ATF. Some speculate Borgelt might have been supplying weapons for government black operations.

The Tacoma Police Department "lost track" of over 400 Glock handguns when they supposedly were traded in for a like number of Berettas. It is now a three-ring circus among the manufacturer (Baretta), the Tacoma Police and a middleman in Las Vegas as to who has the records of the missing Glocks. Each says one of the others kept track. The local media seems to have no interest in following up on this story either.

When Muhammad "kidnapped" his three children and took them to Antigua, they first stayed with Mrs. Janet Greer. When she suspected what he was involved in, she asked him to leave. He then moved to the Douglas' home for the rest of his stay in Antigua. The Antigua investigators found that Mrs. Greer had initially put them up at the request of her cousin Randolph Simon (who lived in Tacoma and was a friend of Muhammad). Now that's a name that hasn't appeared in the U.S. media. Could Mr. Simon be our mystery witness?

Maybe a few letters to editors of the local newspapers would prod them to do some investigating on their own.

Yet, the head of the U.S. FBI and other top U.S. officials refused to show up to testify as requested . . .data uncovered by German authorities, {indicates} the supposed Moslem "terrorists" were merely on what is known in espionage, as a "parallel track", a trick to disguise the real events and make them like Lee Harvey Oswald, a patsy, falsely blamed.]

The German and Austrian purported artists were working on a book while living on the 91st floor of one of the Twin Towers, in an area that had been a warehouse, where they built a balcony.

were the purported "artists", escaping notice of the WTC security and living on the 91st floor, a diversion for certain persons who wired up the towers for internal explosions, to concide with something striking the towers on 9-11? Did they know, or see anything, while living inside one of the towers, by which they could be witnesses to foul play?

Very interesting informaiton from Skolnick, a nice parallel to the info on the Israeli "art students." Clearly every national intelligence agency of any import had operatives involved in the 9/11 milieu. The link has a copy of the NYT article form Aug 18, 2001

According to the New York Times last month, there's now up to 160 members of the royal family and other Saudi officials who were in the country at the time who also got free plane rides and picked up and taken out of the country when no one else could fly. So no one could fly in America on September 12 or 13 unless your name was bin Laden. . . .

I'm making this film right now that will hopefully get this out sometime next year, and I just interviewed one of the F.B.I. agents, and they were appalled. They couldn't believe that procedures weren't followed. I said, what is the procedure in a case like this? He said the procedure would be that each of the bin Ladens would have been subpoenaed, they would have come and Testified. We would have subpoenaed their phone records, just done a check.

It looks like the Moore film, "Farhenheit 9/11" will focus on Bush malfeasance and the Bush-bin Laden financila connections. Issues such as the ISI money transfer to Mohammed Atta, on a German Parliament/US Congress scholarship), explosions in the buildings, Israeli (and German) "art students," etc.

Libertythink's Washington bureau noticed heavy chemtrail spraying was apparent over the National Mall at about 2pm EST on Oct. 25. Several undissipated trails hung for hours in the clear day, eventually merging into an overcast sky. FBI employees played flag football nearby and a black helicopter buzzed over occasionally.

The Washington bureau's photography equipment is out of commission, unfortunately.

FBI agents have conducted the first round of questioning at the White House, talking to senior officials who may have disclosed the identity of Valerie Plame, the CIA unofficial cover case officer whose identity was disclosed in a syndicated column in July.

A source close to the White House tells us that the FBI agents conducted casual questioning apparently to entrap any leakers. The agents did not take sworn statements from the staff members because lying to an FBI agent during questioning is a crime.

Wasn't that polite of those nice FBI agents?

My money is still on Cheney's chief of staff, Lewis "Scooter" Libby III.

Tagorda asked some pointed questions about why presidential hopeful Howard Dean had been so relatively quiet, compared to most Democrats, about the Halliburton company's "no-bid contracts and ties to the Bush administration." I thought he was very fair to Dean, even quoting those few times when Dean had mentioned Halliburton critically.

What got the Dean fanatics all riled up, though, was Tagorda's asking aloud as to whether a certain political money donor behind Dean, one Robert Crandall, was the same Robert Crandall of Halliburton. . . .

According to info that Tagorda has subsequently been able to document precisely because he'd shaken the trees and the fruit thus fell to earth, Halliburton's Robert Crandall is indeed the same Robert Crandall behind Howard Dean.

TOTAL INFORMATION ANALYSIS: Is this just the tip of the iceberg? Somehow this is wholly unsurprising from the "antiwar candidate" who's calling for an INCREASED presence in Iraq.

On September 19, 2003, Cryptome posted a request for help in identifying an alleged "Japanese journalist/photographer" shown in a photographic excerpt of video made on the day President John Kennedy was assassinated. The video -- Exhibit 2424 in the Warren Commission report-- was made of a press conference in Dallas Police Headquarters and also showed Jack Ruby.

. . . with the "Japanese journalist/photographer" at upper left, Ruby at upper right.

Two responses came from a Japanese person who claimed to be working on a project about the assassination. The person said the photo showed a now-prominent Japanese, Atsuyuki Sassa, former Director General for Cabinet Security Affairs Office -- a top-level national security office in the Japanese Government.

The person also said Mr. Sassa at the time of the JFK assassination was a police/security officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs but did not explain why Mr. Sassa was in Dallas on the day of the assassination. A recent photo of Mr. Sassa was sent.

CARACAS, Venezuela, Oct. 23 — U.S. congressmen and diplomats on Thursday dismissed allegations by Venezuelan officials and lawmakers that the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency was trying to topple leftist President Hugo Chavez.

The accusation against the CIA, part of a recent war of words between Washington and Caracas, was made earlier this month by Chavez's Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel. It was repeated on Wednesday by two political allies of the president in the National Assembly.

Lawmakers Nicolas Maduro and Juan Barreto presented a video which they said showed an alleged CIA ''colonel'' instructing local recruits in subversion tactics. . . .

''The era of the CIA in its historical role of undermining governments in the world and especially in Latin America is over,'' Massachusetts Rep. William Delahunt, a Democrat, told reporters. He was accompanied by Rep. Cass Ballenger, a North Carolina Republican, and New York Democrat Rep. Gregory Meeks.

AFP Oct. 8:

Lawmaker Nicolas Maduro said he would lobby US legislators to open any CIA files on Venezuela.

"Let them declassify the secret documents on CIA involvement and their financing of undercover activities during 2002-2003 because we have hard evidence that the terrorist attacks were planned," he said. He did not mention which US lawmakers would be asked to help.

He said the records would reveal CIA funding links to Vene-zuelan opposition groups seeking to oust Chavez.

Maduro also said he will seek US congressional approval for access to any CIA records related to a failed coup in April last year, which swept Chavez from power for less than two days.

"A group of legislators will go to Washington so that the secret documents on the coup d'etat are declassified so that we can know the names of those who have received money from the CIA to create this chaos in Venezuela," Maduro said.

UPDATE - From Associated Press Oct. 25:

A Florida company accused of working with dissidents to overthrow the Venezuelan government rejected on Saturday videotape evidence allegedly linking them to subversive activities.

The Venezuelan unit of Florida-based security company Wackenhut denied that the video - presented Wednesday by legislators allied with President Hugo Chavez - showed CIA agents advising Venezuelans in June on how to destabilize the country later this year.

"The video was in reality filmed in the installations of Wackenhut Venezolana, C.A in September 2002. . .

Ruling party lawmaker Nicolas Maduro claimed the three men in the video were U.S. secret agents training dissident military officers and municipal police in espionage and "terrorist" tactics.

The U.S. Embassy said the video showed an event held by a private security company, not CIA agents. It added that the U.S. government did not participate in the event.

Wackenhut said that affirmations that one of the men in the video was a CIA agent and retired army colonel were "false and groundless." The company, which has worked in Venezuela since 1994 and has operations in six states, also denied that police officers were present at the meeting.

TOTAL INFORMATION ANALYSIS: Note Wackenhut didn't deny any were military officers, heh heh. They're shocked, SHOCKED to be accused of being CIA.

The chairman of the federal commission investigating the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks said that the White House was continuing to withhold several highly classified intelligence documents from the panel and that he was prepared to subpoena the documents if they were not turned over within weeks. . . .

The chairman, Thomas H. Kean, the former Republican governor of New Jersey, also said . . . that while he had not directly threatened a subpoena in his recent conversations with the White House legal counsel, Alberto R. Gonzales, "it's always on the table, because they know that Congress in their wisdom gave us the power to subpoena, to use it if necessary." . . .

Mr. Kean suggested that he understood the concerns of the White House about the sensitivity of the documents at issue, saying that they were the sort of Oval Office intelligence reports that were so sensitive and highly classified that they had never been provided to Congress or to other outside investigators.

"These are documents that only two or three people would normally have access to," he said. "To make those available to an outside group is something that no other president has done in our history. . . .

Mr. Kean said he was barred by an agreement with the White House from describing the Oval Office documents at issue in any detail — he said the White House was "quite nervous" about any public hint at their contents — other commission officials said they included the detailed daily intelligence reports that were provided to Mr. Bush in the weeks leading up to Sept. 11. The reports are known within the White House as the Presidential Daily Briefing. . . .

Last year, the White House confirmed news reports that President Bush received a written intelligence report in August 2001, the month before the attacks, that Al Qaeda might try to hijack American passenger planes. . . .

TOTAL INFORMATION ANALYSIS: I'll believe when I see it. Besides, it's not like those "two or three" people haven't had more than 2 years to gin up a fake document anyway . . .

From Flight 800 Independent Researchers Organization Oct. 8:

Flight 800 Independent Researchers Organization (FIRO) announced their probable cause determination for the 1996 crash of TWA Flight 800 . . .

Findings:

• Radar data shows the first pieces of wreckage hurling out the right side of TWA Flight 800, landing in an area not listed in the NTSB debris field database. This wreckage was confirmed recovered by the Navy more than 1/2 mile south of the flight path.
• Objects consistent with incendiary pellets used in missile warheads were found during victim autopsy exams.
• Explosive traces consistent with explosives used in missile warheads were found throughout the wreckage. The traces that were found in a cargo compartment cannot be explained by an alleged explosives spill, during a bomb detection exercise conducted in the passenger cabin weeks earlier.
• Overwhelming statistical evidence from hundreds of eyewitnesses is consistent with an ocean-launched surface-to-air missile and its subsequent impact with TWA Flight 800 at an altitude of 13,700 feet.
• Based on radar data and the law of conservation of energy, TWA Flight 800, at no time during its crash sequence, climbed as depicted in government animations.

Probable Cause:

A surface-to-air missile, launched from the ocean off the coast of Long Island rose up and exploded at or near TWA Flight 800. The explosion of the near-empty center wing fuel tank was a secondary explosion, initiated by the explosion of a missile warhead. The combined destructive power of the missile and the fuel tank explosion caused catastrophic structural failure of TWA Flight 800. . . .

Formed in April of 1999, FIRO is a group dedicated to uncovering and publicizing the facts surrounding the crash of TWA Flight 800. Its membership includes former airline crash investigators, scientists, engineers, and aviation professionals.

TOTAL INFORMATION ANALYSIS: My best guess is it was hit both by an inert drone missle and a guided missle seeking it.
