When newspapers reported this week on poor medical and living conditions for Americans injured in Iraq, it might have come as a shock for some readers. For months, the press has barely mentioned non-fatal casualties or the severity of their wounds.

E&P reported in July that while deaths in combat are often tallied by newspapers, the many non-combat troop deaths in Iraq are virtually ignored. It turns out that newspaper readers have also been shortchanged in getting a sense of the number of troops injured, in and out of battle" . . .

927 soldiers have been wounded in Iraq, many quite severely. (The tally is current as of Oct. 20.) Of this number, 1,590 were wounded in hostile action, and 337 from other causes. About 20% of the injured in Iraq have suffered severe brain injuries, and as many as 70% "had the potential for resulting in brain injury," according to an Oct. 16 article in The Boston Globe.

Current injury statistics were easily obtained by E&P through U.S. Central Command and the Pentagon, so getting the numbers is no longer a problem. According to Lawrence F. Kaplan, author of an article on injured troops in the Oct. 13 issue of The New Republic, this information has only recently been readily accessible. "Pentagon officials have rebuked public affairs officers who release casualty figures . . .

According to an Oct. 3 report by UPI, nearly 4,000 soldiers had been medically evacuated from Iraq for non-combat reasons. . . .

CARACAS, Venezuela, Oct. 23 — U.S. congressmen and diplomats on Thursday dismissed allegations by Venezuelan officials and lawmakers that the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency was trying to topple leftist President Hugo Chavez.

The accusation against the CIA, part of a recent war of words between Washington and Caracas, was made earlier this month by Chavez's Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel. It was repeated on Wednesday by two political allies of the president in the National Assembly.

Lawmakers Nicolas Maduro and Juan Barreto presented a video which they said showed an alleged CIA ''colonel'' instructing local recruits in subversion tactics. . . .

''The era of the CIA in its historical role of undermining governments in the world and especially in Latin America is over,'' Massachusetts Rep. William Delahunt, a Democrat, told reporters. He was accompanied by Rep. Cass Ballenger, a North Carolina Republican, and New York Democrat Rep. Gregory Meeks.

AFP Oct. 8:

Lawmaker Nicolas Maduro said he would lobby US legislators to open any CIA files on Venezuela.

"Let them declassify the secret documents on CIA involvement and their financing of undercover activities during 2002-2003 because we have hard evidence that the terrorist attacks were planned," he said. He did not mention which US lawmakers would be asked to help.

He said the records would reveal CIA funding links to Vene-zuelan opposition groups seeking to oust Chavez.

Maduro also said he will seek US congressional approval for access to any CIA records related to a failed coup in April last year, which swept Chavez from power for less than two days.

"A group of legislators will go to Washington so that the secret documents on the coup d'etat are declassified so that we can know the names of those who have received money from the CIA to create this chaos in Venezuela," Maduro said.

Who is Jerry Boykin? He is Army Lt. General William G. "Jerry" Boykin. The day before Boykin appeared at the pulpit in Oregon, the Pentagon announced that Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld had nominated the general for a third star and named him to a new position as deputy undersecretary of Defense for intelligence. . . .

A monthlong journalistic investigation of Boykin reveals a 30-year veteran whose classified resumé reads like a history of special operations and counter-terrorism. The tanks were from Fort Hood, where Wesley Clark was, in early 1993, commander of the Cavalry Division of the US Army's III Corps. In our last issue we cited a congressional report commissioned in the aftermath of Waco which described how Texas governor Anne Richards had consulted with Clark's number two at Fort Hood. Then, on April 14, there was a summit at the Justice Department in Washington, where Attorney General Janet Reno, top Justice Department and FBI officials and two unnamed senior Army officers reviewed the final assault plan scheduled for April 19.

The two Army officers at the Justice Department that day were Colonel Gerald Boykin, and his superior, Gen. Peter J. Schoomaker, the head of Special Forces at Fort Bragg.

Boykin and Schoomacher were present because the Army's Fort Bragg-based Combat Applications Group-popularly known as the Delta Force-had been enlisted as part of the assault team on the Branch Davidian Compound. It appears that President Clinton had signed a waiver of the Posse Comitatus Act . . .

The FBI deliberately sought to conceal that it had an top military armor expert visit Waco to "assess" the situation, then meet with Attorney General Janet Reno to discuss "tactical contingency plans that may be used to bring the situation in Waco, Texas, to an end."

The memo, signed by Michael E. O'Connor, Army Operations Command watch officer, meticulously notes that it is "the Department of Justice thru (sic) the FBI" that has "requested two soldiers by name," and that the loan of the two, Brigadier General Schoomaker and Colonel William "Jerry" Boykin, to the FBI for such a mission has been approved by a General Heldstab. The memo goes on to record that top executive officers, major Army commands such as Three Corps and Force Command and the U.S. Army Special Operations Command were also informed. "The FBI," the memo states, "will handle travel arrangements."

According to WorldNetDaily's Special Forces source, it is a revealing break in protocol to have such military officers transported by the FBI. More properly they would travel by military or civilian aircraft. But using either of those methods of transport would mean that their names and ranks would be recorded on a flight manifest.

By contrast, by breaking with protocol and transporting these two Delta Force officers via FBI plane or helicopter, and having them dress in civilian clothes, their identity would be neither known to observers nor recorded in any manifest.

Furthermore, having a military aircraft land at Waco would have certainly attracted attention and questions. . .

In the five years since the two officers in the memo met with Reno about Waco, they have, between them, collected six stars -- a nearly unprecedented rate of advancement. Boykin, then a colonel has gained three stars to become a lieutenant general in command of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command . . .

TOTAL INFORMATION ANALYSIS: This murderous special forces scumbag is apparently running a "special" psychological operation on Christians in the United States with this crap. The idea that George W. Bush, a member of Luciferian/occultic conclaves such as Skull & Bones and Bohemian Grove is any sort of Christian, much less appointed by God, is patently asinine. Yet this psy-op guru is apparently running around to Christian churches in the United States spewing this garbage and the rubes are eating it up.

Associated Press October 23:

A former Navy attorney who helped lead the military investigation of the 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty that killed 34 American servicemen says former President Lyndon Johnson and his defense secretary, Robert McNamara, ordered that the inquiry conclude the incident was an accident.

In a signed affidavit released at a Capitol Hill news conference, retired Capt. Ward Boston said Johnson and McNamara told those heading the Navy's inquiry to "conclude that the attack was a case of 'mistaken identity' despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary."

Boston was senior legal counsel to the Navy's original 1967 review of the attack. He said in the sworn statement that he stayed silent for years because he's a military man . . .

It was "one of the classic all-American cover-ups," said Ret. Adm. Thomas Moorer, a former Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman who spent a year investigating the attack . . .

David Lewis of Lemington, Vt., [who] was on the Liberty when it was attacked . . . said a U.S. flag was flying that day and Israel shot it full of holes. . . .

[There are] several possible reasons Israel might have wanted to attack a U.S. ship. Among them: Israel intended to sink the ship and blame Egypt because it might have brought the United States into the 1967 war.

TOTAL INFORMATION ANALYSIS: Russia would have been drawn in to the war as well -- a fulfillment of the plans laid out by Pike and Mazzini 100 years earlier.

NOW IT CAN BE TOLD.

A Libertythink special forces team has reported the successful execution of a meatspace psyop.

Agents infiltrated and succesfully distributed leaflets known as "Deception Dollars" at a weekend conclave of well-meaning yet still partially-blinded activists inside the DC Beltway.

The activists had gathered for the "Grassroots America Defends the Bill of Rights" conference, with chief sponsors the American Civil Liberties Union and People for the American Way. A number of other groups helped sponsor the conference, including the Bill of Rights Defense Committee. The BORDC is the loosely-affiliated network of activists which has been instrumental in the passage of many of the local and state resolutions condemning the totalitarian USA PATRIOT Act. It was hundreds of those activists which gathered for the two-day affair, the capstone of which was Alec Baldwin moderating a panel between Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist and PFAW head Ralph G. Neas.

Permissible discourse was circumscribed to issues concerning "post-9/11 policy." The purpose of the operation was to keep the activists from getting too caught up in the "glamour" of the alleged experts and celebrities to be unable to see the big picture.

That big picture, of course, is government perpetration of fake terror as pretext for the implementation of the police state mechanisms of societal control as well as various and sundry types of profiteering.

The Deception Dollars point to several websites with additional information on these issues. By accessing that information, activists can break their compartamentalization and conditioning.

Makers of antiterrorist technology are lining up to register under a new government program that provides them with immunity from lawsuits if their products don't work during a terrorist attack. . . .

A get-out-of-court-free card for the makers of inferior products . . .

Any technology considered effective, necessary and available immediately can be "designated" if officials believe the risk of liability might stop the manufacturer from taking it to market.

Designation limits the liability in lawsuits "arising out of, relating to, or resulting from an act of terrorism" of the makers, sellers and users of products in several ways.

In addition, if the department decides that — as well as meeting the criteria for designation — products are safe for use as intended, they can be "certified."

Certification, Mr. Pankowski said, grants a complete immunity on a "very broad" basis. "It basically covers any kind of lawsuit."

A German judge said on Monday statements from Ramzi bin al-Shaibah, a suspected September 11 conspirator, could not be used in the trial of a Moroccan accused of helping the suicide hijackers.

A Hamburg court had requested the confidential documents for use in the trial of Abdelghani Mzoudi, an electrical engineering student from Morocco, charged with 3,066 counts of aiding and abetting murder, and membership of a terrorist organisation.

Judge Klaus Ruehle said the German Interior Ministry had declined to make available to the court a copy of statements that bin al-Shaibah, who is in U.S. custody, has made to American authorities. . . .

Bin al-Shaibah . . . has been held by the United States since his arrest in Pakistan in September 2002.

It is the second trial in Germany involving. . . about the Hamburg al Qaeda cell. . . .

Barry Chamish writes in his latest email dispatch of two Israelis being blackmailed for their pedophilic predilections. One is a "rogue peace negotiator," the other Yitzhak Rabin's supposed assassin. Some excerpts:

Yossi Beilin. Over the years, well-placed people have made the disturbing claim that his weaknesses have become a risk to the nation. I recall the foreign ministry official who asked that we take a ride in my car and there told me about a young Arab boy that Beilin was entranced with and more than merely wondered if this wasn't a trap for the whole nation. Then there was an officer of the Intelligence Corps who informed me that Beilin's ruinous Vatican policy was being arranged in concert with an intimate aide too closely tied with the most anti-semitic elements within papal circles.

It is only when weakness is turned into sedition that someone's private behaviour should become an issue. Beilin once again crossed that line with his "private Geneva peace initiative." You can be certain there was nothing private about it. He has been flying in and out of Geneva for over two years and someone has been funneling him the money to work behind his government's back. So, already, we know his backstabbing was anything but private. . . .

Since Beilin's "private" initiative was hardly private, who was really behind his latest act of betrayal? At the top are the "enlightened ones" manipulating Israel's demise and dragging the world into war along the way. At the next rung down, we have a few hints as to the identity of those who once again got to Beilin:

- Oct 15: David Warren's article in today's National Post regarding the Swiss and European Sponsored meeting with Yossi Beilin . . . [Warren] suspects, but cannot prove, that the U.S. State Department is behind this strange conference. . . .

- Oct 14: (IsraelNN.com) Swiss Foreign Ministry officials announced funding the efforts involved regarding the Geneva document . . . PA chief Yasser Arafat said today that that the agreement does not reflect the PA's position. . . .

If it was the shame Beilin felt about his private moments which was exploited to "turn" him, the same method was, I'm becoming more certain, used to turn Yigal Amir into a patsy. . . .

A Tel Aviv court ordered the wide circulation newspaper Yediot Achronot, to devote 3/4 of a page to a rebuttal of their slander in February 2001, of a committee of professors and one doctor, who publicly demanded a reinvestigation of the Rabin assassination. Anticipating the victory, several months ago, an early pioneer of the truthful murder investigation, Natan Gefen, sent Yediot an article offering his version of the truth. He stressed that Yigal Amir was a homosexual blackmailed into being the murder patsy. . . .

Problem is that Gefen will not release the evidence for his claim . . . waiting for the highest bidder. . . .

I had chosen to believe that Amir was mind-controlled as the better option. However, it may turn out that Gefen is right . . .

Someone I had spoken to previously, who passed on information that all checked out, decided to talk to me again. . . .

The informant is in the legal field and from a police family. He has been doing his own research but until now, only hinted at what he found.

Informant: I just want you to know that I've seen Amir's police files. You couldn't have got them, they're buried so deep. . . . Did you know he gets leaves from prison? What assassin gets leaves? . . . When he was in Golani, he committed these acts on the base. He wasn't alone, he had a little gang going. He got caught and there was an investigation with the police. It turns out he was a pedophile rapist on base and off. I've seen the police files on him. He did terrible, terrible things to small boys but the police closed his files.

BC: Why would they do that?

IN: Only one reason, the Shabak ordered them closed. Then they took over. No matter what they told him to do, it was still better than what would happen to him and his family.

From the London Daily Mirror

PRINCESS DIANA claimed there was a plot to kill her in a car crash in a handwritten letter only 10 months before she died. She gave it to her butler Paul Burrell with orders that he should keep it as "insurance" for the future.

The princess predicted: “This particular phase in my life is the most dangerous.” She said "XXXXXXXXXXX is planning ‘an accident’ in my car, brake failure and serious head injury in order to make the path clear for Charles to marry”.

In the letter, revealed by the Daily Mirror today, Diana named who she believed was plotting to kill her. But the Mirror is not able to repeat the allegation for legal reasons so we have blanked that part of the letter out.
